2. Sulphur Blue 15 Uses

Sulphur Blue 15 is suitable for dyeing cotton, hemp, viscose and its fabrics. Levelling and exhaustion are good, and the oxidation rate is slow.

Low temperature (70 ℃) dyeing is deep and bright, the temperature is too high, sulphur blue 15 shade becomes gray.

For vinylon dyeing, the level dyeing is poor, sulphur blue 15 color depth is lighter than cotton, and the color is darker.

Sulphur bluet has a new water-based sulfonic acid group, and the color fastness of the dyeing is worse than that of the general sulfur dyes. If treated with a fixing agent Y, the color fastness can be improved, and the color is slightly brighter.

The coloring matter is oxidized with hydrogen peroxide or sodium perborate, which can make the color bright, but the color light is blue.

Sulphur blue 15 is often used for dyeing crab green, dark green, sea blue, blue green and so on. It should be noted that when dyeing with different dyeing temperatures, it is easy to produce color difference. For example, when dyeing mid-blue with Sulphur Blue BN, generally high temperature is used to dye the Sulphur Blue CV, and then the temperature is lowered to color the Sulphur Blue BN to prevent color difference.
