Difference Between Electrostatic Spraying Process and Paint Baking Process

2021-07-09

In the modern home decoration industry, paint baking process and electrostatic spraying process are commonly used. Our company, milestone Industrial Co. Ltd., has been providing high-quality electrostatic powder coatings for consumers for a long time, and the products are highly praised by users. Now we will introduce the differences between electrostatic spraying process and paint baking process.

1. Baking Process:
1) Paint baking process: for high-density plate grinding, when reaching a certain degree of roughness, then vacuum baking room for spray painting, then high temperature baking shaping.
2) Paint baking process: paint baking needs to apply putty on some door panels, which is the bottom layer of paint spraying. It needs to primer on the base material, and every last coat of paint needs to be baked; Polishing and polishing; Repeated painting and grinding;
3) Advantages of baking process: bright color, strong visual impact, good surface finish, easy to scrub, good moisture-proof and fire-proof performance.

2. Electrostatic Spraying Process:
1) Electrostatic spraying process: it is a spraying method that uses high-voltage electrostatic field to make the negatively charged coating particles move in the opposite direction of the electric field, and adsorb the coating particles on the surface of the workpiece.
2) Electrostatic powder spraying process, also known as powder coating, is a new coating process developed rapidly in recent decades. The raw material used is plastic powder. Electrostatic powder spraying is a faster developing construction technology in powder spraying. The process of electrostatic powder spraying is: loading → degreasing → cleaning → rust removing → cleaning → phosphating → cleaning → passivation → electrostatic powder spraying → solidification → cooling → unloading.
3) Advantages of electrostatic powder spraying: thick coating can be achieved by one spraying. Powder coatings are solvent-free and environmentally friendly. The electrostatic spraying process has high efficiency, high powder utilization rate and recycling. Electrostatic spraying process is suitable for many industries.
