The quality of HPMC industrial grades can be judged from the following five aspects:

1) HPMC industrial grades fineness: the fineness of HPMC is generally 80 mesh and 100 mesh. The finer the fineness is, the faster the dissolution is. Generally speaking, it is better. In general, the products produced by vertical reactor are smaller than those produced by horizontal reactor.
2) HPMC industrial grades light transmittance: dissolve HPMC in water to form a transparent liquid. According to its light transmittance, the greater the light transmittance, the better, indicating that there are less insoluble substances in it.

3) HPMC industrial grades specific gravity: moderate specific gravity is better. If the proportion is too large or too small, it may be the result of poor control in the production process.
4) HPMC industrial grades appearance: pure hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, fluffy visual state, small bulk density, range: 0.3-0.4g/ml; The inferior HPMC has better fluidity, more heavy handle and obvious difference with the authentic appearance.
