Dyeing other fibers with direct dyes

1. Dyeing of silk fabric

1) The gloss, color vividness, and hand feel are not as good as acid dyes, and they are rarely used alone;

2) Make up for the shortcomings of acid dyes and reactive dyes, such as black, emerald blue and green;

3) Carry out under weak acid or neutral conditions, more dyeing with neutral bath;

4) The dyeing process is similar to that of cellulose fiber.Keep dyeing at near boiling temperature for 60 minutes, then wash with water.

2. Dyeing of nylon

1) Poor diffusion performance in nylon, easy to cause ring dyeing, poor level dyeing, poor coverage, low dye uptake, and color is not bright;

2) More dyeing with acid dyes or neutral dyes;

3) Carry out under weak acid or neutral conditions, more dyeing with weak acid bath;

4) When dyeing, start dyeing at 40~50°C, increase to 100°C at a heating rate of 1~2°C/min, and keep it for 20~40min.After dyeing, slowly lower the temperature to 50°C and wash out the machine with water.

3. Dyeing of wool

1) It is mostly used for wool and cellulose fiber blended fabric;

2) It should be mixed and dyed with weak acid dyes;

3) The dyeing process is the same as the weak acid dye.
