1. Solubility of Reactive red 3BS:

There are 4 -SO3Na water-soluble groups on the Reactive red 3BS dye matrix, so the solubility of Reactive red 3BS is very good, the solubility is more than 100g/L at 50°C, and color spots rarely appear during application.

2. Reactive red 3BS reactivity:

Reactive red 3BS has two active groups: monochloros-triazine and vinylsulfone. Because the reactivity of vinylsulfone active groups is far greater than that of monochloros-triazine, under normal dyeing conditions, CI Reactive Red 195 and cellulose Among the reactive groups of fiber reaction, 80% is vinyl sulfone, and 20% is monochloro-s-triazine. The combination of dye and cotton fiber has stable acid resistance and relatively poor alkali resistance. But for C.I. Reactive Red 241, because vinyl sulfone is in the para-position, the reactivity is weak, the difference between vinyl sulfone and monochloro-s-triazine is small, and the combination of dye and cotton fiber has similar acid and alkali resistance. In general, the cost of dyes for para-esters is lower than that for meta-esters.
